I'm not sure what happened, but either EA broke junk spawners, or a mod is fixing junk so it's not junk, or there's some weird interior decorating gremlins. If you have a junyard in your town you might notice that it is filling up with huge amounts of perfectly good furniture that most sims can't pick up or otherwise salvage.
To get rid of the deluge of furniture (if you have one) just build/buy on the lot, from edit town. Bring down the hammer of unwanted furniture justice, etc.
Use the buydebug menu to view spawners.
Delete them.
Spawner #1 might work. I haven't tested it, so I can't say either way. In my junkyard spawner 1 and 2 look fine, as they are not mobbed by a circle of leisure furniture. How brave do you feel?
I'm sorry if this is old news.
I think the Sims are not tea time oriented enough. Brunch? Coffee machines? No option to bake yummy cream scones with little currants in 'em? No teapots? That is crazy and proof that Sims is nothing like real life. XD (Cream tea = the type of tea with scones and jam served ♥ ) ~scones/Halloweenscones/spooky

writing tools
I’ve been using this tutorial about this program to make a mind map to help me plot out my legacy story (Miliner Project).
I’m sharing it, because someone might find it useful.

Today is a day for...coffee
*gasp*
I might have tea in between cups o' joe though. I don't want to have to rename this blog or anything.
But, I really want to get those screenshots organized. In theory, it will be very helpful. So, say, if I want a picture of Fisher fishing in France, I'll just need to type that in.
Speaking of that, if you are a starving artist, you might want to consider signing up as a substitute teacher/ teacher's aide/ paraprofessional / secretary. Not for the money (hahahaha, no.) but for the 80% Adobe discount. That's better then money, because it's art supplies.
Even President Nixon took a break from meowing to yawn and doze a little. I think he can meow yodel in his sleep though, so that's alrigh' then.
We had awesome weather last night - as in inspired awe. I was sure the rain was hail, but no, it was just raining like it was serious business.
This post is boring and not caffeinated enough. Let me see if I can rustle up something entertaining from the screen shot depths.
Here's Cho, out shopping for future Miliners to "innocently invite" to "just a house party, no real reason." This one isn't bad, but a bit too old for any of the grandkids. Also, she clearly is suspicious of the force of nature behind her.

High hopes
First of all, apropos of nothing, other then I was just looking at it, the image adding thingermabob is now in Russian, and it only works if I constantly wave my mouse pointer around. If I stop waving my mouse, it stops uploading images. I feel like a wizard.
Anyway. I had a problem where first there were infrequent mixologists, and then none, and then all of my service sims vanished, except for an elder consignment specialist.
So, as always, I turned to Twallan, and The Register fixed everything up for me. Plus, I nervously hit reset everything in MC, and that also seems to have helped with lagging. I'm going to find a way of making someone marry that mixologist. Maybe not in the current Bridgeport universe he inhabits, but somewhere, somehow - mixologist pupae.
Next up on the high expectations list: this girl. She is a born in game child of my phony sim self. When I have real teenagers? They will be this awesome, or I will dye their hair while they sleep. I'm a little scared that I'll tell stories like, "When I was your age I had a hot pink faux hawk." and they'll be like, "Yeah, well, it's business up front and party in the back, wassuuuuuup."
...
...
:(
And... that green hand? Gets my hopes up for aliens every single time. It's even wearing a nerdy Star Trek shirt!
Maybe it's a Twinbrook zombie. Yeah, that's it. Zombie. All is well.

finds: custom shapes for PS
I got frustrated with the amount of time I spent on speech bubbles and the limited default selection in PS. So I found a lot of fantastic shapes to use, and they certainly look better, but I can't say I've saved myself any time. :D
Bubbles two by Plutos Eye

Actually comes with solid bubbles, which I find easiest to use.

Thought Bubbles by ManGo-01
http://mango-01.deviantart.com/art/Thought-bubbles-168583683
Still empty vector shapes, which would be great for comics with a white background, but tricky to use on top of photos.
But the simmering anger bubble is pretty cute.
If anyone knows of an easy method for using those doughnut shaped custom shapes, please share. Right now I draw as a path, convert to selection, then fill, invert and fill again on a separate layer.
139 Grunge Vector Shapes by ardcor

I really want to love them, but so far I'm having a hard time finding a use for them. I'll keep trying.
Steampunk Gears by dinn

also my new favorite tutorial of all time: http://dinn.deviantart.com/#/d34auof
Sacred Geometry by merrypranxter

I've already used this one in the up-coming comic, though it's very small and hard to see - I know it's there and it fills me with nerd joy.

CSH winter trees by ~eiermann1952

Almost makes me wonder why in the world I ever spent time trying to draw trees when I could have been doing this. |

So there we go! I love you, people who make and share things. And people reading about people who make and share things. And people in general, unless they are jerks or zombies or jerk flavored zombies.
