Seeing an old saw that has had it's teeth filed off is a little like seeing a freeze dried kitten.
Old saws are not bad saws, and in many cases they can be much easier on the hands to use then new ones.
So if you ever see a saw at a flea market, and you start to think, 'Hey, I could snip the teeth off of that and paint it, because it's mostly rust free and the handle is beautifully decorated and all of the metal bits are in great shape," please stop.
Though I suppose if you are being intentionally evil, and knowingly making a global community of old tool users sad, then I have no choice but to respect that. Hopefully, from very far away.
